Ellenzweig’s front-end programming and planning process includes a comprehensive analysis of existing personnel for all research and engineering groups. This data is organized by the various types of personnel performing active research within each department or research cluster. Once analyzed, we carefully document the existing bench researcher counts and associated area allocations and review with the client to ensure accuracy. Once vetted with the client, these metrics provide a strong baseline for comparative analysis and a solid benchmark for future space program developments.

The project data also includes information on the cost of various building systems and energy usage by building system; these data points are also useful for providing benchmarking analyses among buildings.
