Ellenzweig’s programming and planning process includes an initial comparative analysis between the targeted client/institution and our national database of research lab construction cost and building system energy metrics.

As the project evolves, we continue to monitor the project’s estimated construction costs and overall building design and engineering in order to inform the interim project phase-end reviews.

The project data also includes information on the cost of various building systems and energy usage by building system; these data points are also useful for providing benchmarking analyses among buildings.
